Collage of five photos featuring a young woman with curly hair in various settings: outdoors among trees, at a concert or arena, at a flower garden, giving a speech at a podium, and at a park.

About Sawyer

I’m Sawyer Atwood, a 14-year-old student at The Rivers School in Massachusetts.

This site is a space where I share my creative work—mostly original poetry, fragments, and excerpts, but also my music and other projects that mean a lot to me. My writing and songs explore themes like grief, love, and the complicated feelings that live in between.

I’ve loved poetry ever since I was first introduced to it—it’s always felt like a way to make sense of emotions that are hard to say out loud. My music follows a similar path, blending indie folk and pop influences from artists like Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, and Fleetwood Mac. Through both words and melodies, I try to capture moments that feel honest and real.

Some of what you’ll find here is raw and messy. Some of it is soft and quiet. And some pieces I probably wasn’t sure about sharing at first. But all of it is a part of me, and I hope that when you read or listen, you feel welcomed and understood.

Thanks for being here. I’m glad you stopped by.
